The Lorde's Year
Jesters,
I’m sharing my Spotify Wrapped report as Day 3 of my EOY data analysis. And it sucks that they are evil and run ICE ads because I would like to review my listening history with no stain on my moral conscious.
Minutes Listened: 37,019 / 25 Days
Songs Listened To This Year: 3,082
Total Albums Listened To: 66
Listening Age: 32 (losing my gen-z credit by the minute)
Biggest Music Listening Day: April 29th (which is actually the day I was stuck in Mexico City and listened to all my favorite songs to get me through the worst food related sickness of my life)
Most Diverse Day: July 20
Most Energetic Day: July 29
Now the below series of images and captions should be read cohesively, for it tells the love story between Lorde and I.

Realizing I had so much Lorde in my chart for this year made me curious to see where she’s landed on my top artist list on years that were quieter, non-album promotion or tour cycles for her.
I’ll jog your memory that I was a superfan of “Girl, So Confusing” last year. 0.005% is diabolical.
And my queen Lorde still showed in the Top 5. Icon.
She was in my wrapped in 2021. I was a Solar Power fan and this is PROOF.
And deep from the archives— she’s in my top 5 in 2019. For a long time, I would have said these five artists were my core answers for who-are-your-favorite-artists, the favorites-of-all-favorites, but I don’t listen to Kayne West anymore. The five songs represented here are still five of my favorite songs of all time. “Part of the curriculum” as I like to say.
Observations:
Seems I’ve been listening to 30K minutes on average since they started providing that data point
Wildest Dreams by Duomo was the most played song of my Bridgerton soundtrack listens
Garden of Eden was my top streamed Gaga song
Barbie Dreams by Nicki Minaj (my lock in/crisis song) just barely squeezed in that top slot at #10 on my overall list
If you remove the Bridgerton influence, Audrey Hobert is my next top streamed artist
Sue Me had 39 listens, taking the #20 slot
Addison’s Fame Is A Gun came in at 33 listens, #39
Girl, So Confusing had 27 listens
My top streamed song had 128 listens and my lowest stream song (on my top song playlist) had 19. Range!
See you tomorrow!
